Hrithik brand ambassador for IPL’s Team Mumbai?
Mukesh Ambani became the proud owner of Team Mumbai at the Indian Premiere League by placing the winning bid of $111.9 mn. Hailed 'Mumbai Indians', the team has the Sudarshan Chakra for its logo and will be ably led by Sachin Tendulkar.
However, the Mumbai Indians, consisting of players like Harbhajan Singh, Sanath Jayasuriya, Lasith Malinga, Shaun Pollock, Luke Ronchi..., has been criticized for it's pick-n-mix of players and is touted to be the 'weakest team'.
Given the nature of the IPL, teams like Kolkata Knightriders and King XI (Mohali) have received their fair share of publicity and promotion, what with actors Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta owning them (respectively). The Delhi Daredevils, too, have upped their EQ (Entertainment Quotient) by appointing Khiladi Akshay Kumar to be their brand ambassador.
Not to be outdone so easily, the Mumbai Indians may have found a brand ambassador in Hrithik Roshan.
At least that's the speculation so far and close friends of the actor also confirm that Roshan will soon be shooting for an ad campaign and even an album - the music for which has been composed by Anu Malik - for Mumbai Indians.
With Hrithik being high on the popularity charts right now and in the actors' premiere league, his participation in whatever capacity will definitely be a boost to Team Mumbai.

AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE JODHAA AKBAR
I wish to place on record my appreciation of the above film, which is being screened in Sri Lanka now.
It shows the wonder that was India. It unfolds the great oriental traditions common to our countries regarding which we can be proud of.
I was mesmerized by the wonderful acting of the main characters; particularly of Hirthik Roshan who plays the part of the Great King Akbar. The greatness of the king, his kindness and his lovable and humane character are expressed in a manner which is beyond ones imagination. At the end, I felt that I was part of that great epic. I was a part of that wonderful story. For days, I used to think and hear only of Akbar! His acting is original, uncompromising and great. Akbar’s dance at the royal wedding ceremony, how he went behind
Jodhaa asking her to return and the scene where he was shot at are very moving.
Jodhaa is also really good. She plays her part very well. How she speaks to the emperor giving her conditions for the marriage is well presented.
Akbar’s nursing mother depicts a shrewd and manipulative character which is very difficult to present. But, Badi Ammi does it very well. All the other characters do their part also very well.
The only shortcoming I noticed was that the English subtitles, when fallen on a white background, cannot be read. They disappear too fast. I feel some translations could have been better. But however, they are not serious lapses.
Please convey my appreciation of this wonderful film to all concerned; particularly to Hirthik Roshan, Eiswarya Rai and Badi Ammi. I wish to thank the Director and Producer for undertaking such a massive project, depicting the great civilization of India. Congratulations and Well done.
I wish them well.
